Welcome to Team Mate Yearbook and Journal!

My name is Eileen Schmidtke and I would like to introduce a product I developed for children involved in competitive sports or any activity which requires intense commitment and dedication.

When I was a kid, I was a competitive gymnast. Gymnastics was my life. I spent almost as many hours in the gym as I did in school. My true friends were my teammates and my coaches were my family. We understood each other. We wanted the same things—to be the best competitors we could be no matter how hard we had to work to do it.

Recently I rummaged through a bunch of old boxes containing keepsakes from my childhood and came across a collection of grade school yearbooks. What do these have to do with the life of a dedicated athlete? Nothing. School was school. I wished I had more to remember the days when I devoted all my time and energy doing what I then lived for.

We all know children who fit this same scenario. Because their livelihood resides outside of school, their grade school yearbooks will hold little meaning or value. Like many kids, their definition of school is: something to put up with in order to be allowed to participate in other activities.

This is why I developed Team Mate:

Team Mate Yearbook and Journal gives devoted kids an opportunity to record their experiences as focused, goal-oriented athletes. Unlike a bedside diary, this journal is combined with fun photos and interesting information surrounding the people that mean the most to them.

The compact little book is sized to fit in any bag or backpack allowing endless opportunity to record any event at any time, read about your favorite peers, or pass around for autographing.

An organization that offers Team Mate Yearbooks, is one that understands the value of dedication and accomplishment. Reward your kids by providing a fun, enthusiastic means to remember it all.

Thank you!
